Mies Cuckoo Clock
Studio Barbero, after the design of the Kandinsky Cuckoo Clock, continues its tribute to great artists & architects by creating the Mies Cuckoo Clock which is completely inspired by the works of the great architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
The set of simple lines and volumes are elegantly emphasized by the use of different colors that characterize the unique geometries of the Mies Cuckoo making it ideal for use in all rooms of the house.
Produced with materials that respect the environment the Mies Cuckoo Clock is finished with non-toxic paints. The German-style battery-powered cuckoo movement features a light sensor that automatically keeps the cuckoo silent when it is dark. There is also a panel control that allows you to adjust the intensity of the sound or switch it off completely.
This modern art cuckoo clock features stark, primary colors with a white backdrop and clock hands and hints at the colors depicting grass, sky, fence, house, and garage.
The red block houses the cuckoo bird which peeks out of the window every hour and the yellow block houses the clock mechanism. This handmade clock can be both hung and free-standing and looks fantastic in any modern or mid-century interior.
